Background: Rs.450 Cooking Gas Cylinder Supply Announcement by Amit Shah

The announcement of cooking gas cylinders at Rs.450 is a political move by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in India. The announcement was made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his election campaign in Madhya Pradesh, which is scheduled to go to the polls on November 17, 2023.

They have also pointed out that the BJP has been in power in Madhya Pradesh for the past 15 years, and yet it has failed to control the prices of cooking gas.
