Telecom Giant HFCL Bags a Mega Contract from Delhi Metro
HFCL Bags Order Worth Approximately Rs 81 Crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation
HFCL, one of the leading telecom equipment manufacturers and turnkey service providers in India, has announced that it has received an order worth approximately Rs 81 crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of telecom systems for Phase IV of Delhi Metro project.
The order includes the provision of CCTV cameras, access control systems, public address systems, radio trunking systems, fiber optic transmission systems and other related telecom equipment for six corridors of Delhi Metro Phase IV project, which covers a total length of 103.93 km and 79 stations.
HFCL has been associated with DMRC since its inception and has successfully executed telecom projects for Phase I, II and III of Delhi Metro. HFCL has also supplied telecom systems for other metro rail projects in India, such as Mumbai Metro, Hyderabad Metro, Nagpur Metro and Ahmedabad Metro.
HFCL is a pioneer in the field of telecom infrastructure development and has a strong portfolio of products and solutions, such as optical fiber cables, broadband equipment, power electronics, wireless products and network management systems. HFCL also provides turnkey solutions for various sectors, such as railways, defense, security and smart cities.
HFCL has recently bagged orders worth Rs 447.81 crore from BSNL and RailTel Corporation for the supply of optical fiber cables and broadband network equipment. HFCL has also received orders worth Rs 222 crore from Reliance Jio and its sister concern Reliance Projects & Property Management Services Limited for the supply of optical fiber cables and point-to-point unlicensed band radios.
